Nano Technology

Nanotechnology is the science, engineering, and application of materials and devices at the nanoscale, typically between 1 and 100 nanometers. A nanometer is one-billionth of a meter, so this scale deals with dimensions far smaller than what is visible to the naked eye. At this tiny scale, materials exhibit unique physical, chemical, and biological properties that differ significantly from their behavior at larger scales.

The term "nano" originates from the Greek word "nanos," meaning "dwarf." Nanotechnology involves manipulating individual atoms, molecules, and particles to create new structures, devices, and systems. It is a multidisciplinary field that spans physics, chemistry, biology, engineering, and material science.
